Areas

At Livelet open-air museum you can discover the daily life in the Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps between the Neolithic and the Bronze Age.

Guided tours are always carried out by archaeologists and museum educators. During the tour it will be possible to enter 3 pile-dwellings, built in 2007 with techniques and raw materials also used in the past. You can also take part in practical activities on the schedule — workshops, demonstrations of ancient technology, excursions — to travel back in time between 6,000 and 3,500 years ago or explore the nature of Laghi della Vallata Park!

Livelet is open to the public on Sundays and holidays from April to October, with special openings throughout the year.
It can also be visited BY RESERVATION with schools or organised groups, every day from February to November.

In addition to the reconstructed pile-dwelling village, Livelet also offers facilities dedicated to educational activities, service areas, a picnic area with barbecue, a playground, and a bookshop. Within the gardens, there is a short nature trail, with interpretive panels highlighting the natural features of the lake's shores.
All areas are accessible on public opening days or by reservation. The large municipal parking lot nearby is free for visitors: ask for the parking pass at the ticket office.
