Archaeological program

At Livelet Open Air Museum, students have the opportunity to experience a journey through time between 6000 and 3500 years ago.
They can discover prehistoric everyday life within the reconstructed pile-dwelling village, observe raw materials and tools used during the Neolithic, Copper Age and Bronze Age and experiment with hands-on workshops.

School prorgams are active from February to November, from Monday to Saturday, only by reservation.
The offer includes various programs that take place over half a day or a full day. Those that last a full day may include one or two practical workshops, chosen from those available.

Programs and costs

Full day

1. GUIDED TOUR TO THE PILE DWELLING VILLAGE + 1 WORKSHOP
DURATION: approximately 5.5 hours (including initial snack break and intermediate break for packed lunch)
COST: €11.00 / pupil (for groups of less than 15 pupils €165.00 / group)

2. GUIDED TOUR TO THE PILE DWELLING VILLAGE + 2 WORKSHOPS
DURATION: approximately 6.5 hours (including initial snack break and intermediate break for packed lunch)
COST: €13.00 / pupil (for groups of less than 15 pupils €195.00 / group)
Notes: based on the pairing chosen, the workshops will be adapted to adapt to the duration of the course and to make the pairing more coherent

Half day

3. GUIDED TOUR TO THE PILE DWELLING VILLAGE
DURATION: approximately 2 hours (including initial or final snack break)
COST: €7.00 / pupil (for groups of less than 15 pupils €105.00 / group)

4. GUIDED TOUR TO THE PILE DWELLING VILLAGE + SHORT WORKSHOP (Neolithic Jewel)
DURATION: approximately 3 hours (including intermediate snack break)
COST: €8.00 / pupil (for groups of less than 15 pupils €120.00 / group)

Entrance is free for accompanying teachers.
Any accompanying parents €5.00 / person.
